Obituary of Marie Landers Santora

Mrs. Marie Landers Santora of Seal Beach, California, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Mrs. Santora was born June 23, 1923 in Pittsburg, Texas to Noah Hicks Landers and Cora Milligan Landers.

Mrs. Santora worked for many years as a secretary in New York City. Upon retirement in California she enjoyed gardening, water aerobics, reading and traveling to visit her family in Texas, and New York. Her immediate and extended family were a source of great pride and she took interest in her family genealogy.

Mrs. Santora is survived by her children:  JoAnn Christensen and husband Bob,  Peter Santora and wife Cheri, and Christine McCaffrey and husband Ed; grandchildren: Dana Wolff Yawman and husband Jeff, Eddie McCaffrey, Mack Santora, Olivia Santora, and Luke Santora; great grandchildren: Danielle Yawman and Kaylin Yawman and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sandy Santora, parents, and brothers: Floy Landers, and Horace Lander; and sisters: Roberta Landers Bynum and Jeanette Landers Bishop.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held for one hour before the services at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 P.M.
