Obituary of Robbie Attaway

Mr. Robbie Attaway, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas was born August 20, 1947 in Pittsburg, Texas to Howard Hoff Attaway and Elizabeth Mae Kinsfather Attaway and passed away on February 3, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

He is a Baptist and former commercial pilot for America West Airlines. He was a corporate pilot for Avtex.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Attaway of Mt. Pleasant, Tx; children, Jesse Howard Attaway and his wife Jenna of Gilbert, Az. Robert Lynn Attaway and his wife Melody of Pittsburg, Tx and , Amanda Lynn Conklin and her husband John of Scottsdale, Az; grandchildren, Whitney, Jacob, Kyle, Matthew, Alexia, Autumn, and Kylee; Great grandchild, Scarlette; and sister, Sue Matthews and her husband Marvin of Gladewater, Tx.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Lunsford.

Services are scheduled for 2: 00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation with the family will be between 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Tim Parker and pallbearers will be Ricky Baker, Paul Henderson, David Shelton, Sr., Larry Jack Richardson, Duane Shelton, and Steve Courreges. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy McCollum, T.D. Lunsford, Rob Barnett, and Marvin Matthews.
