I am very sorry for your loss. There are some scriptures that have brought me comfort when I have lost a loved one in death. God gives a promise that we will see our loved ones again. This promise is held out in his word the Bible. Scriptures such as as John 5:28-29 which reads, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” And Acts 24:15 which states, "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” And Psalm 37:29 that reads, "The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it." I hope that these scriptures have been of comfort to you too.
