Obituary of Annie Fuller
Annie Fuller, age 82, of Pittsburg, passed away Saturday, February 26 at Southern Wind Manor. Mrs. Fuller was born April 7, 1933 in Schwabach,Germany to Hair and Rosa Haaf.
In 1950 she met Alvie Fuller, then serving in the US Army stationed in Germany. At the conclusion of Alvie's military service they wed and moved to Texas. During the next 57 years they had together the two were seldom apart. She was a devoted wife and mother and a dear friend to many. Annie was known for her quick wit and caring heart. She was also an accomplished quilter, and was known throughout the state for the wonderful quilts she made and exhibited each year at the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio. She had worked at Erman Smith Funeral Home for 32 years. Annie was a member of the Greer Boulevard Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Kent Fuller and wife Jenny, of Pittsburg; four grandchildren: B.J. Fuller, Chris Fuller, Troy Fuller, and Heather Fuller; Sister: Ottilie and Hans Leisinger of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Hair and Anni Haaf; her husband of 57 years: Alvie Fuller;
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 29 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Virgil Faires officiating. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from noon to 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 28 at the funeral home.
