I only found out about Annie's passing this week as a card I sent was returned. I am so sorry I did not know sooner. Annie and I met at Texas Folklife Festival 35 years ago and she became a dear friend. My condolences to all her family. Her grandsons and my sons spent quite a bit of time together in the Back 40 each year at Festival and even came home with us for a "break" from all the activity. We kept in touch over all the years and I will miss her dearly.
Rest in peace sweet friend.

Was so sad to hear of Annies death. I am the sauerkraut and wine maker at the Texas Folklife Festival and along with my parents have know Annie for years. She will certainly be missed by many at this festival. It was always so good to see her smiling face and I was very happy that many of her family members made sure that she got to the festival and was watched over. She loved being there!!!
Bless you all and know that she is in a wonderful place and looking down on us and will be at the festival watching it all happen. Theda

My sincerest condolences to family and friends. There is a scripture that has brought me much comfort in times like these. It is taken from John 5:28-29 which states, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This gives us the promise of seeing our loved ones again. I hope that this has brought you comfort also.

Liebe Fuller Familie:
Annie was such a good Texas Folklife Festival friend of mine for many, many years.
I always enjoyed seeing her at her quilting booth at every festival, including her last festival in June 2015.
I always enjoyed, also, greeting her a with big German Umarmung (Hug) and mitsprechen bischen Deutsch (speaking a little German with her.)
Now Annie has finished her earthly journey and is in GOD'S care in Heaven--awaiting the rest of us.
May God bless, comfort, and strengthen all of you as you carry on in her loving footsteps.
Mit viel Lieb und Freundschaft,

I loved Mrs. Annie so. She was a feisty lady that I loved visiting with. She was truly a special woman who I know is celebrating with Alvie in heaven.

Annie was a fiercly loyal friend if you were fortunate enough to be chosen as a friend. Her energy level was unbelievable. She leaves quite a legacy for family and friends alike.
