Don and family, I was so sad to learn about Debbie's passing. She was one of the most loving and loved women I have ever known. She was always a shining example of patience, caring, and teaching and I will always value the years I was privileged to share with her, witnessing and being a recipient of her blessings. Her pull of positivity was enormous and no one could help but be uplifted by spending any amount of time with her. I still feel her influence any time I pull out a book or poster or other teaching help that says "Peek" on it. God bless and hold all of you up. Our prayers continue to be with you.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Peek. She was my 1st grade teacher. I remember being upset in kindergarten because to me the whole point of school was to learn how to read. Mrs. Peek made such a huge impact on my life. As soon as she taught our class how to read, I couldn't stop. Being an adult I still love to read and so do my four children. I will always be appreciative of all the hard work she invested into children. I wanted to share a comforting scripture, it is taken from John 5:28-29, it states,"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This promise of a resurrection has given me much comfort and hope. I hope this has also brought comfort to the family and friends of Mrs. Peek.

We remember Debbie as a helper. She helped children see their true potential. She was always there to lend a helping hand to friends. She helped her children become the men they are. We are certain she was a doting and loving grandmother as well. She left this earth far too soon. May memories of her be kept alive through others in the coming days, months, and years. We express our sincere condolences to Don, their sons, and her entire family. May God comfort and nurture you through this difficult time and always.
