Obituary of Shirley Bybee

Shirley (Von) Bybee, age 78, of Pittsburg, passed away Saturday, August 8 in Tyler. Mrs. Bybee was born August 14, 1936 in Morton, Texas to Robert Dyer Goodwin and Willie Lou Harrison Goodwin.She married Russell Bybee on July 24, 1953 and together they raised two children, Rickey and Kelly.She was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Von is survived by her son Rickey Ray Bybee of Pittsburg; daughter Kelly Bybee Stansell and husband Kip, of Midland; five grandchildren: Bobby Bybee and wife Mandi, Robin Bybee and Brian, and Heather Bybee, all of Florida, Kyle Stansell of Longview and Kendall Jordan and husband Tom of London, England; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Willie Lou Goodwin, husband of 59 years, Russell Bybee; and two sisters, Opal Crone and Rene Baker. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M., Monday, August 10 at Erman Smith Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Noon, Monday, august 10 at Center Grove Cemetery East of Mt Pleasant with Bro. David Kizer officiating. Pallbearers are Kip Stansell, Kyle Stansell, Wesley Kiser and Zach Kiser. Honorary pallbeaers are Don Ziegler, Bob Nitson, Donny Spears, Pat Taylor, Joe Kizer and Billy Pilgrim.
