Mrs. Nowlin was born January 16, 1923 in Rodessa, La. and passed away June 25, 2015 in Athens, Texas. She is survived by her Son: Charles W. Nowlin, Jr., and wife LeAnn - Bryan, TX; Daughters: Charlotte King and Husband Jimmy- Rosenberg, TX and Delores Holubec and Husband Cliff- Athens, Texas. Grandchildren:Brian Scott King, Robert Gavin King, Sally Nowlin, and Sandy Gross ; Great Grandchildren: Gavin Nicholas King, Jacob King, Adam King, Anna King, Jenna Marie Reis, Jaxon Gross, and Madeline Larae Gross, Sister: Nell Miller- Pittsburg, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents: Frederick Doyle Parker and Rosa Lee Hutchins Parker, husband, Charles W. Nowlin, Sr., 2 sisters, and 5 brothers Graveside services for Marie Parker Nowlin will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be between 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
