Obituary of Jo Donal Brunin

Jo Donal Brunin, age 59, of Gilmer, passed away Monday, June 1 in Longview. Ms. Brunin was born May 2, 1956 to J.W. and Margaret Barry Payne in Gladewater. Jo was a devoted mother who spent her days looking after her children and later, her granddaughter Alex. She is survived by her daughter Whitney Brunin of Gilmer, granddaughter Alex Chamberlain, also of Gilmer; brother Bill Payne and wife Wanda of Rockwall; 2 sisters Jane Gage of Gilmer, and Alice Blasingame and husband Guy, of Gilmer; brother-in-law Steve Smith of Wichita, Kansas; and her nieces and nephews Jordan Payne, Jodi Gage, Kelly Clennan, Kristi Henry, Barry Smith, Greg Smith and Sean Smith. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Margaret Payne, son Jason Neil Brunin, sister Linda Smith, and brother-in-law Neil Gage. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 6 at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
