Obituary of Jimmie Lee Townsend

Jimmie Lee Townsend, 65, of Pittsburg, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 10. Jimmie was born January 24, 1950 in Linconton, North Carolina. He married the love of his wife Melissa Haines on March 10, 1990 in Tyler, Texas, together they raised two sons, John and Benjamen. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Melissa Townsend, of Pittsburg; son John Thomas Meazell and wife Jeanine of DeKalb; son Benjamen Jacob Faust and wife Amanda, of Quitman; grandchildren John Wesley Meazell and Hunter Browning Meazell, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Jasper Watkins and Lane Watkins, of DeKalb; as well as a very special great niece, Emma Grace Cannamore, and his brother Scott Cook. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
