Obituary of Betty Jean Overstreet McCaw

Betty Jean Overstreet McCaw, age 79, passed away at her home in Como Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Betty was born July 5, 1935 in Fouke, Arkansas, one of 7 children to W.H. and Mattie Young. She was a devoted wife, mother, and a faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church of Pittsburg. Betty is survived by five sons; James Perry Overstreet and wife Janet, Arthur Leo Overstreet, Johnnie E. Overstreet Jr., Roy G. McCaw, and Kelsie Dean McCaw and wife Peggy, three daughters Janice Jean Reeder, Janice Marie Milam and husband Roy, and Gayla N. Murphee and husband Robert, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Johnnie E. Overstreet and Bobby Dean McCaw, daughter Martha Ann Overstreet Hill, son-in-law Micah Hill, three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, at Erman Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 9 at Erman Smith. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg.
