Obituary of Sharon Rose Phillips

Funeral services for Sharon Rose Phillips, 68, of Pittsburg, will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2019 at Life Church, Tyler, Texas with Reverend Larry Gandy, Reverend Jimmy Hall, and Reverend Pat Phillips officiating.  Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2019.  Arrangements are under the directions of Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg.  Mrs. Phillips passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 in a Mount Pleasant hospital.

Mrs. Phillips was born July 25, 1951 in East Bernard, Texas to Oard Harold and Dorothy Mae Hopper Guin. She was a housewife and a member of Life Church Tyler.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee Phillips; daughters, Jennifer Lea Hightower and Karen Rose Tulloch and husband, Christian; son, Brian Phillips and wife, Julia;  grandchildren, Preston Phillips, Madison Hightower, Paislee Tulloch, William Phillips; great-grandson, Dean Phillips; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Diane Lockhart.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
