I remember Ron & Terri's first apartment in Jackson Heights, N.Y. they had grass cloth on the walls which I thought was really unique. Their second apartment was on Junction Blv'd on the 2nd floor and in the living room where an air conditioner should go they had a fish tank. If my memory serves me right they also had a Doberman at that time. Once Ron drove to N.Y. with his dog and stayed in our attic, it was the first time that the dog had climbed stairs and he was a little clumsy but managed and after a while was eager to go up and down the stairs.
It was probably around 1953 when we first met Ron. At the time we used to hang out in a Candy Store that was located in Elmhurst by the Grand Ave. train station. Then Ron vanished and we didn't know what happened to him when he returned it was then that we found out that he was in the Marines.
After Teri passed away Ron sent me several occasion dolls that Teri had crochet outfits for. I always display them with pride when the Holiday arises and they bring back loving memories of Ron and Teri.
