Obituary of Van Davis

Mr. Van Davis age 70, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Pittsburg. Mr. Davis was born July 15, 1949 to Lynard and Emma Jean Coe Davis in Camp County.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was a Mason. He was a retired truck driver who owned his own rig for years, he drove for Tyler Pipe and also worked as a bulk feed hauler for Pilgrim’s Pride.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughters; Vanessa McIntosh and husband Harvey and Melanie Summarell and husband John, grandchildren; Rayjah “Ray” McIntosh, Laney Summarell and Wesley Summarell, his sister; Sandra Davis, and a brother Larry Davis and wife Brenda along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 16, 2019 at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. There will be no formal visitation.
