Obituary of Tommy Nello Weeks Sr.

Tommy Nello Weeks Sr., age 75, of Pittsburg, passed away at his home Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Tommy was born August 22, 1939 in Boyle, Mississippi to Buster and Eva Mae Weeks. Mr. Weeks Served in the US Army and worked in Construction. He was the pastor at The Church of God of Prophecy in Tyler and Marshall. Served as a deacon, district overseer and taught Sunday School. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Weeks, sons Tye Weeks and Wayne Swearengin, daughter Kristy Jurik and husband Mark, three grandchildren; Todd Weeks, Ethan Jurik and Ryan Jurik, two great-grandchildren; Braden and Bailey Weeks, three sisters; Nell Cooper, Wilma Moody and Shirley Cloud. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dewayne Weeks, three brothers; RV, Larry and Bill Weeks, and six sisters; Frances West, Bertie Shafer, Virginia Knight, Ruby Lee Weeks, Maggie Williams and Alice Kirkland. Visitation will be held at Erman Smith Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, January 9. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
