Obituary of Charles Cebren "CC" Hooper

Mr. Charles Cebren “CC” Hooper, age 70, of Daingerfield, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Pittsburg. Mr. Hooper was born July 14, 1948 in Eupora, Mississippi to William and Wilma Shepherd Hooper.

Mr. Hooper was a retired restaurant owner, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

Mr. Hooper is survived by his wife Lisa Gay Crossland, daughter; Shelly Jackson and husband Jerry, sons; Chad Hooper and wife LaTona, Casey Hooper and Corey Hooper, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two brothers; J.W. Hooper and wife Mary, and Wayne Hooper and wife Linda, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and the mothers of his children; Sondra Nicholas and Eva Lou Holland.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Chesley Hooper, a sister Dorothy Davis, a niece Nita Dewoody, and brother in law Mark “Red” Holland.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the funeral home.
