Obituary of Linda Gail Murrell Knight

Linda Gail Murrell Knight, 67, of Pittsburg and more recently of Spring, TX, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 in The Woodlands.  She was born August 15, 1951 in Alexandria, LA to John R. and Alice Lemoine Murrell.

Mrs. Knight was a retired nurse and was a member of the protestant faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Knight LaCross; grandchildren, Austin James LaCross and Katelyn Ilene LaCross; brother, John Murrell and wife, Margaret.

Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Knight; parents, son, John Elvin Knight; brother, William “Dub” Murrell; sister, Brenda Darlene Sims.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Neal Thornburgh officiating.  Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Murrell, Austin LaCross, Mark Dempsey, Terry Murrell, Scott Murrell, Daniel Murrell, Mick Fouse and Andrew Dover.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m., to 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
