Obituary of Michael Joseph Cook
Michael Joseph Cook, 73, of Pittsburg, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 in Plano, Texas. He was born July 19, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Jay J. and Ruth Elizabeth Johnson Cook.
Mr. Cook was a retired truck driver having worked for Pilgrims for over 20 years and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, David Bradley Garner and wife, Carla, Michael Gregory Cook and wife, Kerry and Aaron Cook; daughter, Shauna McNutt and husband, Chad; grandchildren, Corey Garner, Shelbi Quick, Steven McNutt, Brandon McNutt, Taylor Cook, Kingsley Cook, Tessa Cook and Jordan Cook; and great-grandchildren, Khonlie McNutt, Addilyn McNutt, Hudson, Quick, Saylor Quick and Michael McNutt.
Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pamela Mignon Cook.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Tanner and Vinson Woodlee officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County.
Pallbearers will be Steven McNutt, Brandon McNutt, Mason Cook, Corey Garner, Brandon Quick and Steven Swinney.
The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
