Obituary of Calvin Joe Young

Calvin Joe Young, 56, of Pittsburg was born March 25, 1962 in Camp County to Billy Joe Young and Estella Silas Young and passed away on January 23, 2019 at his home in Pittsburg.

Mr. Young was of Baptist Faith and a mechanic.

He is survived by his daughters, Carrie McNeil and her husband Charles Keith McNeil of Pittsburg, Kelly Young of Pittsburg, and Jessica Davis and her husband Jason Davis of Pittsburg; 11 grandchildren; 6 sisters, Ophlia Dooley, Darlene Messer, Barbara Ryan, Judy Roberson, Brenda Hargett, and Treasa Barton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cathy Bass Young, and brothers, Billy C. Young and Mike Young.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M Friday, January 25, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. David Kizer will officiate the service.
