Obituary of Edward Jackson

Mr. Edward Jackson, Sr., 82, of Pittsburg was born March 9, 1936 in Wisner, La. and passed away on December 16, 2018 at his home in Pittsburg.

He was a member of the Methodist Church, worked in construction and served as an Airman 2^nd Class in the Air Force.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife Sandra L. Jackson of Pittsburg; son, Edward “Jed” Jackson, Jr. of Pittsburg; daughters, S. Elaine Pilbro and husband Robert of Pittsburg and Janet Force and husband Butch of Ft. Worth; 6 grandchildren, Samuel Eller, Cassandra Force Adams, Tonja Force Lawrence, Brandy Force Arnolds, Meghan Jackson Bennett, and Nicholas E. Jackson; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Clifton Jackson of McCreek, Ms. and sister, Dorothy Jackson Wilkinson of Hazlehurst, Ms.

He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and May Bell Posey Jackson, 4 brothers, Robert Jackson, Earl K. Jackson, Edgar Jackson, and Henry Jackson; 3 sisters, Betty Carroll, Rachal Rippy, and Mary Jane Furr.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
