Obituary of Carl M. Rozell

Mr. Carl M. Rozell, 93, of Pittsburg was born June 18, 1925 in Wood County, Texas and passed away in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on November 20, 2018.

He is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, retired mechanic, and served in the United States Army.

Mr. Rozell is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Rozell of Pittsburg; sons, Dale and Dorothy Rozell of Mt. Pleasant and Rocky and Judy Rozell of Pittsburg; daughter, Carla Coleman of Daingerfield; step children, Alton and Terri Werth of Pittsburg, Bob and Suzanne Klaus of Hays, Ks., Steve and Vicki Hawthorne of Hays, Ks., Craig and Myra Pfannenstiel of Wichita, Ks., Scott and Monique Pfannenstiel of Marquez, and Darin and Laurie Pfannenstiel of Hays, Ks.; 33 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; and a brother, J.C. Rozell of Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Bertie Allen Rozell; wife, Betty Rozell, sons, Rodney Rozell and Carl Max Rozell; 1 grandchild, 6 siblings.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Bros. Randy Stracener and Gary Short will officiate the service and pallbearers will be Carl Rozell, Chris Rozell, Layton Coleman, Rodey Landers, Alton Werth, Scott Pfannenstiel, and Trevor Werth.
