Obituary of Horace Reynolds

 Mr. Horace Reynolds, age 90, of Gilmer, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Gilmer. Mr. Reynolds was born May 25, 1928 in Leesburg, Texas to Elwyn "Bug" and Edna Mae Stewart Reynolds.

He is retired from Lone Star Steel, served his country in the Navy, and was a member of Pittsburg Church of Christ for 30 plus years before moving to Kilgore where he has been a member of the Church of Christ, Kilgore for the last 20 years.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his son, Kenny Reynolds and his wife Tammy; daughter, Sandy Cuevas and her husband Henry; grandchildren, Brandi Jones, Mandi Knight,a nd Amanda Walls; great grandchildren, Tara, Shayna, Selena, Demarcus, Marcus, Kameryn, Tristan, and Shania; brothers, Julian Reynolds and Pat Reynolds.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwyn "Bug" and Edna Mae Stewart Reynolds; his wife of 42 years, Joann Reynolds until her death in 1996; his wife of 20 years, Betty Reynolds until her death in 2018; and sister Bobby Ruth Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery. Chris Vidacovich and Pete Jones will officiate the service. The family will receive friends between 9:00-10:00 A.M. Saturday prior to the funeral.
