Obituary of George Allred, Jr.

Mr. George H. Allred, Jr. age 93 of Pittsburg, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 in Pittsburg. Mr. Allred was born Febuary 28, 1925 in Decatur, Texas to George H. Allred, Sr and Ethel Jensen Allred.

Mr. Allred was in the United States Marine Corp and served in WWII, he was retired from Southwestern Bell. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg were he taught Sunday School.

Mr. Allred is survived by his daughter Anita Dvoracek and husband Jim of Pittsburg, three grandsons and one granddaughter, and nine great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mary Alice Allred, daughter Ann Simmons, his parents and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with burial at New Mine Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be no visitation.
