Obituary of Patty Redding Pilgrim

Mrs. Patty Redding Pilgrim, 80, of Pittsburg, Texas was born April 21, 1938 in Leesburg, Texas to Clayton Wayne Redding and Allie Lawrence Redding and passed away October 11, 2018 in Pittsburg, Texas.

Mrs. Pilgrim was a local philanthropist, member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Texas, member of the 20th Century Club, and taught the GA's mission program.

Patty will be forever remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law: Ken & Donna Pilgrim of Pittsburg and Pat & Anne Pilgrim of Lake Creek; daughter and son-in-law: Greta & Bill Henson of Dallas; 6 grandchildren: Clayton Pilgrim, Jake Pilgrim, Lonnie Pilgrim, Greta Gail Simpson, Chesley Hindman, and Shelby Owens; 5 great grandchildren: Kate, Emily, Gracie Hindman, Caroline Pilgrim, and Thomas Simpson.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lonnie Bo Pilgrim; parents, Clayton Wayne Redding and Allie Lawrence Redding; sisters: Peggy Miskotten and Dorothy Russell.

Visitation with the family will be held between 9:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M., October 13, 2018 at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church. Following the visitation family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg, Texas. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Pilgrim, Clayton Pilgrim, Jake Pilgrim, Wes Hindman, and William Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ross Henderson, Neal Oquinn, Joe Cavender, Mike Cavender, Clay Cavender, and Hal Pilgrim.
