Talked to the sweetest man today while at the cemetary visiting my parents. Mr John E Smith, your love and dedication to your wife, Ms Betty, of all these years reflects in your love story you shared of how you met, how long married and how long separated now (still counting the days) and how much missed. I know she was treasured while in this family's life. Bless yall and prayers for the strength it must take for him and all his family. and YES, He blessed me with a "salvation check" ! Love Faith and Joy to all.

Betty was a very friendly lady, laughter and shared peach stories with me and brother Leroy Lawrence also Wilma Palmer.John would tell us just go across the highway and pick the peaches you want. We did then returned to pay for our beautiful hand picked peaches. Never will be another John and Betty Smith or the peaches they sold.

My beautiful aunt will be missed by so many who love her. She was a beautiful Christian woman who gave her entire life to her love Johnny, their girls and grands and great grands as well as sharing her love with other family members like me her neice and other relatives. She is deeply loved and will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Betty's Homegoing. She was one of the sweetest Christian ladies I ever met and I loved her so much. I especially enjoyed the times I worked with her at the flower shop. We shared many good times and lots of laughs. Betty certainly loved Mr. John ,her girls and her extended family and I know you are all heartbroken. You will all be in my prayers in the days and weeks ahead for comfort and peace from our Heavenly Father.. We know will see her again some day soon. Mr. John I love you and will be saying extra prayers for you.
