Obituary of Wayland Saxon

Wayland Saxon, 83, of Pittsburg., Texas was born June 13, 1935 in Wood County, Texas to Elver Aubrey Saxon and Lillie Mae Sorge Saxon and passed away on August 12, 2018 in Gilmer, Texas

He was a member of First Baptist Church, a Rancher, and a member of the Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by his wife Donna Saxon of Pittsburg; daughters, Michele and Don Creed of Pittsburg and Renee and Andrew Swanson of Carrollton; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Aubrey Saxon of Plano; a sister, Jan and John McWhorter of Pittsburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elver Aubrey Saxon and Lillie Mae Sorge Saxon; grandchild, Ashley Ragsdale; brother, Ronnie Jo Saxon and sister, Dian Burleson.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Little Hope Cemetery in Wood County. Visitation with the family will be between 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
