Obituary of Leon D. Tolden

Leon Delano Tolden, 81, was born November 22, 1936 in Dallas, Tx to Lois Marie Tolden Rigsby and Neal Tolden, he was the grandson of Lela Williams.

Mr. Tolden was a Pittsburg resident of the last 45 years having lived here as a child as well. He retired from Andritz-Ruthner in 2000. Since 2012 he resided at the Pittsburg Nursing Center where he passed away on July 19, 2018. He is preceded in death by his sister Donna Marshall, brother Michael Tenyata Tolden, son Leon Tolden Jr., daughter Andrea Paul and son Thomas James (Toby) Noel.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Judy Fitzgerald Tolden, daughter Leticia Tolden of Ft. Worth, TX, sons; Lionel Tolden of Tokyo, Japan, Trazell Bailey of Dallas, Tx, granddaughters; Ski Bailey of Los Angeles, CA, Bianca Bailey of Champaign, ILL, and Ariess Paul of Harlem, NY, grandsons; Torma Bailey of Dallas, TX, Trevion Bailey of Dallas, TX Comele Paul of Terrell, TX, Dante Willis of Pittsburg, TX, and five great grandchildren, sisters; Yvonne Halloway of Dallas, TX, Francine Rigsby of Dallas, TX, Margaret Ward of Arlington, TX, Theresa Jefferson of Indianapolis, IN, and his Uncle Golden (Kottie) Murphy of Pittsburg, TX.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 831 Loop 179 Pittsburg, Texas with Bro. Kyle Smith officiating.
