Obituary of Carolyn Sue Gossett

Carolyn Sue Gossett, 79, of Pittsburg, Texas was born May 24, 1939 in Daingerfield, Texas to Earl and Cleo Turner Tigert and passed away in Jefferson, Texas on July 11, 2018.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and retired Walmart Sporting Goods Associate.

Mrs. Gossett is survived by hers sons and daughters-in-law, James “Coon” Gossett and Jeanie of Lake O’ the Pines, Texas and Jerry L. Gossett and Pam of Rowlett, Texas; grandchildren, Bobby Gossett and Tammy of Rowlett, Texas, Michael Gossett and Amber of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joey Gossett of Rowlett, Texas; great grandchildren, Sarah Gossett, Hattie Gossett, and Caroline Gossett. She is also survived by her brother, Norris and Mary Jane Tigert of Pittsburg, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Edward "Rip" Gossett,  brothers, Fred Tigert, Buddy Tigert, Dale Tigert, Marvin Tigert, Jack Tigert, and Bobby Tigert; sisters, Dovie Tigert Knight, Thelma Tigert Thigpen, and Allie Tigert Tosh.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County.
