I had the privilege in 2011 to meet Danny,, my husband's cousin. We met in a candy store and I remember how nice he was to everyone, including me. A true gentleman, he will be missed. Eddie is sorry they lost touch. Oursincere condolences to your family, June

Danny was a funeral director's, funeral director. I worked for Erman Smith Funeral Home for a number of years doing trade work in Longview. I still have a note that he sent me many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

June, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you and your family. Danny was such a nice classmate...always a gentleman. I am so thankful that you were able to bring him to our recent reunion. ALS is such a horrible disease, and something he and your family did not deserve. But God will sustain you and take care of him until you are reunited with him.

Sammie Strange and brother Billie M. Strange are first cousins of Danny Lin. Their mother Beunah Wakefield was a sister to Danny Lin’s mother Lois Wakefield Gary. We are so sorry to learn of Danny Lin’s passing. We are unable to make it to the visitation or the service tomorrow due to doctor appts. Our condolences to the entire family are sent to all of them.
