Obituary of Paula Jo Schaber

"Paula Jo Schaber, 56, of Pittsburg, died Thursday March 29, 2018 at 7:05 pm at Christus Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler while surrounded by her family.

She was born April 9, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to the late Beatrice Jones Mace and James Mace. On April 30, 1994 she married her soulmate. She is survived by her husband Ronald L. Schaber of Pittsburg; son, Justin Schaber of Pittsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Ronni and Jordan Coombs of Pittsburg; granddaughter, Alex of Sioux City, Iowa; sister, Claudia Duke of Pittsburg; sister, Stephanie Rodgers; several nieces and nephews spread all over the country; uncle and father figure, Nolan Sanchez; her multiple children-by-love that she didn't birth but treated like she did; and her two cats she treated like her children Pickles and Dill. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Howard Schaber; brother, James Mace; sisters Beulah Whisnant and Cindy Dailey. 

Anyone who knew Paula Jo could tell you she had a servant's heart. She was dedicated to doing any and every job she could at First Pentecostal Church of Pittsburg, and spent most of her time volunteering at God's Closet. She lived in Marion, Ohio from 1994 until 2012 when she moved back home to be with family in Pittsburg. While living in Ohio she enjoyed being an avid supporter of the local wrestling companies, where she loved all her boys and quickly became Mama Paula. 

She lived by the quote "Created by destiny; bonded by belief."

She loved Jesus with every fiber of her being and we know without a shadow of a doubt that when she took her last breath on earth, she took her first in Heaven. Never once did Paula Jo meet a stranger. If she met you once, she loved you always. 

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at First Pentecostal Full Gospel Church of Pittsburg with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 between 4:00-8:00 P.M.
