Obituary of Vada Lee Farrar

Mrs. Vada Farrar, 93, 0f Pittsburg, Texas was born January 30, 1925 in Hunt County, Texas to William Anderson Slack and Bertha Magdalene Dawson Slack and passed away on March 20, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

She was a member of Reeves Chapel Methodist Church and retired medical/legal secretary.

She is survived by her sister Mary Martha Teague of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Alvin Leroy Farrar, and eight siblings.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
