Obituary of Mamie Joyce Gressett

Mamie Joyce Gressett, of Leesburg, passed away in Tyler on Tuesday morning, December 19, at the age of 76. She was born March 13, 1941 in Aubrey, Texas to LeRoy Shelton and Aleen Post Shelton.

She is survived by her son: Daniel M. Gressett and wife Katrina; two daughters: Pamela J. Hamann and husband Carlton, and Regina Graham and husband Darrell; as well as 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Robert "Bob" Gressett; and her parents: LeRoy and Aleen Shelton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 28, at New Mine Baptist Church in Camp County with Bro. Tim Parker officiating. Entombment will follow at 4:00 P.M. at Rosewood Memorial Park in Longview. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at New Mine Baptist Church prior to the service.
