Obituary of Linda Beth Williams

Linda Beth Williams, age 71, passed away at her home in Pittsburg on Thursday morning, December 21. Linda was born November 1, 1946 in Gilmer to Pete and Edna Mae Johnson. She wed David Williams on January 8, 1963 in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Linda was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and Registered Nurse for many years. She was also talented oil painter.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Williams; three grandchildren: Courtney Williams, Celsie Williams, and Andrew Martin Williams; a great-granddaughter: Victoria Michelle Williams; a step-sister: Lisa Johnston; and her very special friend Janet Ellison.

Linda was preceded in death by her two sons: Clinton "Clint" Williams and Gregory Martin Williams; and her parents: Pete and Edna Mae Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 23, at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Wesley Vandever officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, at the funeral home.
