Obituary of Fannie Elizabeth Young
Fannie Elizabeth "Beth" Young, passed away October 7, 2017 at the age of 89 years. She was born September 11, 1928 in Singer, Louisiana to Paul Aldophus Culpepper and Mettie Hamblin-Culpepper.
She is survived by three children, Judy Elizabeth Baker, of Pittsburg, Terry Suzanne Moncus of Smithville, and Dr. Robert Herman Bryant of Kyle. Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Labermyer of Lockheart and Alma Clardy of Arlington. She leaves 13 grandchildren: Lori Jean Guest of Cason, William L. Baker Jr. of San Antonio, Wesley Travis Baker of Pittsburg, and Nancy Elizabeth Williams of Nashville, Tennessee. Also, Steven Glen Mott of Smithville, David James Mott of Dallas, Kathryn Dianna Johnson of Garfield, Sandy Elizabeth Sepulveda of Smithville and Anna Marcella Carter of Bastrop. As well as, Krista Lee Bryant of Kyle, Aaron Bryant of Minot, North Dakota, Nathan Bryant of DeLeon, and Hannah J. Loudder of Springlake. Beth Young is also survived by thirty-six great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Jayhue Bryant and James Alton Young, as well as her parents, Mettie Hamblin-Culpepper and Paul Aldophus Culpepper, and two sisters, Mettie Evaline Hanna and Mamie Dail Luken.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas with burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in Morris County. Visitation will be held at Erman Smith Funeral Home from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 10, prior to the service.
