Obituary of Julian Benjamin Toro, Jr.

Julian Benjamin Toro, Jr. passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, September 14, in Tyler at the age of 19. Julian was born March 30, 1998 in Houston to Julian B. Toro and Elvira Cortez. He was a 2016 graduate of Pittsburg High School.

Julian was a wonderful son and brother. He constantly went out of his way to help others and would have given anyone the shirt off of his back. Julian enjoyed being outdoors mudding and fishing, and really loved to work on his truck, which was his pride and joy.

Julian is survived by his parents: Julian B. Toro and Elvira Cortez Toro; four sisters: Marina Romero, Susana Toro, Jillianne Toro, and Mikayla Toro; two brothers-in-law: Edgar Romero and Carlos Zavala; a nephew: Dominick Zavala; and five nieces: Zoey Zavala, Rozalee Zavala, Solara Romero, Sumaya Romero, and Siena Romero.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg.

Julian was a registered organ donor. His family would like to encourage others to also give the gift of life.
