Obituary of Floyd Toby Porter

Floyd Toby Porter, 92, of Pittsburg, TX passed away September 12, 2017. He was born April 8, 1925 in Winfield, TX to John Morgan Porter and Sallie Jane Davis Porter. He spent his life in East Texas as a cattleman and farmer.

Mr. Porter is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Bessie Jane Minchew Porter; his parents: John Morgan Porter and Sallie Jane Davis Porter; and 8 siblings: Howard Pardue, Fred Porter, Robert Porter, Edgar (Jack) Porter, James (Butch) Porter, Jessie Mae Dailey, Pauline Moore and Mollie Clymer.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Erman Smith funeral home with Larry Black presiding. Burial will follow at Blodgett cemetery in Blodgett, TX. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. service time at the funeral home.
