Obituary of Dorothy Alliene Cox

Dorothy Alliene Cox, age 77, of Pittsburg, passed away Tuesday evening, August 22, in Tyler. Dorothy was born October 20, 1939 in Hardin Valley, Tennessee to Burt and Johnnie May Crawford Ingram.

She is survived by her husband: Frank Curtis of Pittsburg; two sons: Carl Cox and wife Charlotte of Pittsburg, Texas and Kenneth Brown and wife Joyce of Odessa, Texas; two daughters: Elaine McCellon and husband Keith of Lake Cherokee, Texas and Tracy Barnett and husband Dewayne of Midland, Texas; as well as 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., August 26, 2017 at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg, Texas. Visitation with the family will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Burial wil be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 29 at Stoney Point Cemetery in Hardin Valley, Tennessee.
