Obituary of Johnny Peek

Johnny Peek, age 72, passed away at his home in Pittsburg Sunday, August 13, surrounded by his family. Johnny was born October 31, 1944 in Pittsburg to Clyde R. Peek and Martha Dean Vick Peek.

He is survived by his wife Janice Peek; a son: Chris Peek and wife Laura of Pittsburg; a daughter: Julie Butler and husband Cody of Pittsburg; three grandchildren: CheyAnne Harris and husband Kassidy, Cali Butler, and Alex Peek; a sister: Marie Hansen and husband Alan formerly of Pittsburg; as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Martha Peek.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 15, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg with Bro. Randy Stracener officiating. Pallbearers are Rafe Green, Roger Peek, Gilbert Olivarez, Lawrence Cleveland, Ray Duke, and Mike Reynolds. Acting as honorary pallbearers will be the personel of the Lone Star Steel Electrical Department.
