Obituary of Neta Louise Dobbs

Mrs. Kitty Dobbs was born November 14, 1930 in Shamrock, Texas to Manton and Lucille Pettey Alvis and passed away April 4, 2017 in Longview, Texas at the age of 86. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked over 20 years for the Pittsburg Independent School District in the cafeteria where she thought of the children as her own. Mrs. Dobbs is survived by her children: Rickey Dobbs and his wife Patricia of Waller, Texas; Michael Dobbs and his wife Karla of New Caney, Texas; and Beverly Lucas of Pittsburg; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Herbert L. Dobbs; siblings: Billy Mac Alvis and Delores Ann Baker. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Leesburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
