Obituary of Charles Louie Hoffman

Charles Louie Hoffman entered into eternal life on November 9, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport, LA. He was 77 years old. He was born and raised in Pittsburg, Texas. Beloved son of the late Adele Hughes Hoffman and the late Louie Hoffman. He was a veteran, having served in the US Army in the late 1950's. Charles lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed traveling the country in his RV. He relished trips to the west coast and traveling to Europe. Charles got a kick out of sitting on a balcony facing the ocean during the morning hours enjoying fresh pastries and fruit. He took great joy in attending the University of Texas football games. His most memorable moment came when he witnessed UT win the national championship in the Rose Bowl in 2006. He started working for R.E. Meyers (later changed name to Hydronic Technology) in 1970. He started a new office for the company in Shreveport, LA. This company and the people in the company became his passion in life. He was a successful salesman and worked his way into leadership roles and became president in 1990. He took great pride in leading the company and even greater pride in setting up a foundation for future success the company enjoys to this day. Charles loved his parents dearly. He adored his cousins especially Diane, Sylvia and Alice. He traveled with them often during his life. He loved to tell a good story. Charles Hoffman was a good and honest man and he will be missed by family, friends and members of Hydronic Technology. The family would like to thank Buddy Hannon, who was his caretaker for the last seven years. Charles thought the world of him.
