We knew George for 11 years when living in Pittsburg on our farm. We attended the United Methodist church and the senior fellowship we had once a month. We enjoyed telling stories and jokes at the Friday morning coffee group each week at Pilgrim Bank ,where we discussed all the problems of the world and were not able to reach a final decision. But we had fun anyway. He will be missed by us all, May he rest in the loving arms of our heavenly father.

I am very sorry for your loss. Someone who positively touched the lives of so many will be much missed. We can draw comfort from God's Word as I am sure Mr. Hess did throughout his life. God promises that we will see our loved ones again. Scriptures that are examples of this are: John 5:28-29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” And Psalm 37:29, "The righteous will possess the earth,And they will live forever on it." I hope that these scriptures have brought you comfort.

So sorry for your loss. George was such a fun and outgoing person. I remember my mother telling me what a nice and helpful person he was. Any time she needed a ride he was there to help. I loved talking to him. He was so fun and upbeat and made me laugh.
