Obituary of Ray Oliver Davis

Ray Oliver Davis, age 77 of Blossom, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Cooper, Texas, surrounded by his family. Ray was born Fabruary 20, 1940 in Cartwright, Texas. He is survived by his wife: Margie Davis; a son: Michael Davis and wife Amanda of Winnsboro; two daughters: Tina Smith and husband Jody of Blossom, and Rae Lene Rivera of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren: Justin Smith, Joey Smith, Destiny Boswell, Sierra Boswell, Branda Lagunes, Joseph Garrett, Cheyenne Sprayberry, Bobby Sprayberry, Casron Davis, and Karlee Davis; two brothers: Bill Duff and wife Vicki of Pittsburg, and Leslie Duff of Leesburg; and a sister: Mary Pearson of Dickerson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother: Dissie Lee Dimsdale; a daughter: Nita Sprayberry; and two brothers: Robert Duff and Roy Duff. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, at New Mine Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Parker officiating. Burial will follow at New Mine Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
