Obituary of William Carl McBride

William Carl McBride, aged 89, of Pittsburg, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Carl was born December 29, 1924 in Hagensport, Texas to William Robert and Lillie Dale McBride. He served in the US Army, and was a long haul truck driver for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Juanita McBride; two daughters, Lynda Dyess, of Nederland, Texas and Nancy Jordan and husband Jimmy, of Newsome; three step-daughters, Vickie Kelley and husband Gregg, of Searcy, AR, Teresa Yuen and husband Gerardo of El Paso, and Pam Shipp and husband Roger, of Pittsburg, and three step-sons, Gary Dyke and wife Lille, of Cookville, TN, Michael Dyke and wife Vickie of Daingerfield, and Randy Dyke and wife Paula, of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by a sister, Joy Ellison, of Pittsburg, 4 grandchildren and 15 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 25 step-greatgrandchildren, and one stepgreat-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Louise Brooks McBride, brother, Lloyd McBride, sister, Ina Mae McBride Hardage, and a son-in-law, Wayne Dyess.
