Obituary of Jo Ann Caster

Jo Ann Caster, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, November 6, at the age of 82. Jo Ann was born on September 11, 1934 in Titus County to Raymond and Helen Graham Sullivan. She attended school in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1952. Mrs. Caster was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She was a hard working woman, and in addition to running her household, was a sales representative for Tupperware, where she obtained the distinction of being on of the top representatives in the United States. She also owned and operated an antiques store for a number of years, and kept a booth at All Occassions Antiques for well over 20 years. She is survived by her four children: Kenneth Holcomb of Tennessee Colony, Texas; Helen Wright of Leesburg; Sherrie Perren of Leesburg; and Keith Mitchell and wife Brandy of New Boston; as well as two step-sons: Lance Caster and Ray Lee Caster; a step-daughter: Carrie Hollen and husband Tim; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Helen Sullivan; her husband of 20 years: Ray Alfred Caster; her children's father: A.G. Mitchell; a granddaughter: Cacey Perrin; and a great-grandson: Dakota Barker. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 10 at Leesburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Erman Smith Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.
