Obituary of Kenneth Drew

Kenneth Drew, age 85, of Pittsburg, passed away peacefully in Tyler on Tuesday evening. Mr. Drew was born February 1, 1931 in Pittsburg to Melvin Glenn Drew and Bessie Cope Drew. He was a graduate of Pittsburg High School, class of 1948. Kenneth worked for many years with the Arkla Gas Company. He is survived by his brother: Dr. Gerald Drew and wife Ruth of Pleasanton, Texas; a nephew: Gerald Drew and wife Debbie of Annona, Texas; a niece: Cheryl Kubacak and husband Greg of Brady, Texas; 4 great nieces and nephews: Katie Drew, Taylor Kubacak, Allie Kubacak, and Raleigh Kubacak; along with a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3 at Erman Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 2, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Matinburg Baptist Church.
