I am so sorry for the loss of such a sweet person. There are some scriptures that have brought me comfort. They give the promise that we will see our loved ones again. The first is taken from John 5:28-29, which states, " Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Also, Acts 24:15 states, "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” God has promised us that we will see our loved ones again. I hope that these have brought you comfort also.

So sorry I heard about Lois' passing too late to attend her service. Lois was a special lady and such a good friend to my mother, Lena Wilson. They enjoyed all types of activities together throughout the years. I still smile when I think of Lois, mother, and some of their friends going to Longview to see the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark when it first was in the theaters because they thought it was a religious movie. Mom said they laughed about that for awhile. Please accept my condolences for your loss. Eileen

She was a great teacher and had a beautiful singing voice. She always did a super job singing "Jerusalem"("The Holy City").

I regret that I will be unable to attend my Aunt Lois's funeral. I am so pleased that last October, I was able to visit her for a few hours in Pittsburg. Lois was a big part of my growing up and I recall how much I enjoyed her company and the company of my Uncle Shelby. Visiting my cousins, Ronnie ,Tim and Terry were always times of adventure and fun. I remember one visit to Wichita Falls when I went down to the barn to help my Aunt Lois with milking. At the time I was 6 years old and I remember thinking my aunt was ancient. She was 26. My birthday was December 5 and hers was December 6. She would have been 90 in December and I , God willing, will be 70.
May flights of angels welcome her into paradise.
Love,
Paul
