Obituary of Russell Lynn Cargo

Russell "Rusty" Lynn Cargo, age 55, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9, at his home in Newsome. Rusty was born September 16, 1960 in Hereford, Texas to Daniel and Jerry Cargo. Rusty was a avid sports fan, and particularly enjoyed watching NASCAR and basketball. He loved music of all kinds and enjoyed picking his guitar. In his younger days Rusty was quite a dancer. He is survived by his siblings: Steve Cargo and wife Holly, Vicki Beard and husband George, Debbie Nelson and husband Jim, Danny Cargo and wife Jamie, and Keith Cargo and wife Wendy; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Jerry Cargo, and his wife Kim Sheppard. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
