Obituary of Debbie Herman

Debbie Virginia Herman, age 60, passed away Thursday morning, January 21, at her home in Pittsburg, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Herman was born in Houston, Texas on February 15, 1955. She recieved her Associates degree from Baptist Bible College in Arlington. She had a lengthy career in the banking industry, working her way up from a teller to branch manager. On June 2, 1994 Debbie wed Stephen Herman in Crosby, Texas. Debbie was a devoted wife and mother, and later grandmother. She treasured the time she spent with her family above all. Mrs. Herman was also quite a gardener, and spent many hours tending to her flower beds. Debbie loved to travel and enjoyed many cherished memories doing so with Stephen. Debbie always had a quick wit and was quick to crack a joke, a trait she passed on to her children. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Stephen Herman; her parents, David and Norma Davis; two sons: Richard "Tony" Lyons and Ryan White; a grandson, Reymond White, who was the apple of her eye; a brother, Richard Wilkerson; sister, Sheila Feemster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26 at the San Augustine City Cemetery in San Augustine, with Dr. Steven Diaz officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 25, at the funeral home.
