Obituary of Newton Lloyd

Jasper Newton Lloyd passed away Sunday, January 17 in Longview, at the age of 84. Newton was born November 9, 1931 in Chandler, Texas to Lewis and Eara Caphart Thornborough. He is survived by his wife: Debbie Lloyd; three daughters: Vicki Johnson, Cindy Ramo and husband David, and Kathy Nichols and husband William; as well as 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Eara Caphart Thornborough; his wife Mary Elizabeth Lloyd; and daughter Mary June Lindsey. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 20 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 19 at the funeral home.
