Obituary of Carlene Jones

Carlene Jones, age 63, of Pittsburg, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 9. Mrs. Jones was born in Greenville, Texas on October 17, 1952 to Frank Kuhn and Maggie Jean Reese Kuhn. She married William "Bill" Jones in Olden, Texas on October 10, 1972. Together they would raise two children: Stephen and Kristina. Carlene was a wonderful homemaker and a devoted mother, and later grandmother. Her passion was her family and she enjoyed every moment she spent with them. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Jones; two children: Stephen Glynn Jones and Kristina Lari Hoyer; two grandchildren: Shelby Nicole Bolton and Kyler Glynn Jones; two sisters: Betty JoAnn Hardman and Dana Kathleen Philipp; four nehpews: Mark Philipp, Michael Jones, Jr., Taylor Jones and Robert Ensor; as well as three nieces: Ashley McGuire, Lindsey Lovell and Elizabeth Philipp. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Maggie Kuhn; a daughter: Kathren Carlene Jones; and a brother: Mark Kuhn. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 10 at Erman Smith Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Saturday, December 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde, Texas. Graveside services under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home will be held Sunday, December 13, at 2:00 P.M. at Clyde Cemetery in Clyde, Texas.
